Dam Duck Race
The Manitowish Waters Sno- Skeeters will Be hosting the 1st annual "Dam Duck Race" Sunday September 5th at 2pm in Manitowish Waters. The race will start on Rest Lake above the dam on Hwy W and end downstream from the dam. Prizes will be awarded as follows:
1st place-$2,000
2nd place-$1,000
3rd place- $500
4th-7th place $100
Ducks cost $20 each (Buy a flock of 6 for $100) and All proceeds benefit the Manitowish Waters Sno-Skeeters Snowmobile club. Ducks are available at: The Rustic Roadhaus, The tower Inn, Dietz's and the Pea Patch. Concessions will be served after the race at Koller Park with live Music from "Big Road" starting at 4pm. Also we will have on display our 2011, Skidoo MXZ Sport 600 Raffle snowmobile. Tickets will be available for purchase.

- If you encounter this pig while out on the trails, please feed it. Previously thought to be a docile creature, it has been known to devour snowmobilers in one bite when hungry. It feeds on one dollar bills but has been known to have an appetite for larger bills. Its meals go directly toward maintaining our trail system. The pig can be found at most pit stops.
