The drawing for the Manitowish Waters Sno-Skeeter's 2001 Snowmobile was held at The Pea Patch Saturday, February 10th, 2001. Mike Coan, local plumber "extraordinaire" had just finished a grueling shift of washing dishes at the Pea Patch as a volunteer for the annual fundraiser dinner preceding the drawing for the snowmobile. As he took a much deserved rest, the tension mounted the crowd as they awaited the drawing. Moments later Mike's name was called and the rest is history. So if you want to win a snowmobile, volunteer for a fundraiser. It might just help your Karma.. Okay at least your hands will be clean!
